What Pluto represents

Pluto represents power, deep transformation, and everything that hides beneath the surface: our deepest fears, the desire for control, the processes of destruction and rebirth every life goes through at some point. It's a slow planet with intense, almost seismic energy.

As a transpersonal planet, its sign position marks an entire generation, while its house position points to the area of life where each person is called to transform most deeply — often through crises that, while painful, turn out to be necessary turning points.

Working consciously with Pluto means daring to look at one's own shadow — what one doesn't want to see in oneself — instead of projecting it outward: that's the path to the true personal power this planet promises.

Mythology

The god of the underworld in Roman mythology: what's hidden, symbolic death, and the transformation that only comes from facing one's own shadow.
