Midheaven

Punto calculado

Cycle: Angular point, recalculated for the exact time and place of birth (it doesn't orbit)

What Midheaven represents

The Midheaven (MC) isn't a planet but one of the four main angles of the birth chart, along with the Ascendant, the Descendant, and the Imum Coeli. It marks the cusp of the 10th House and represents vocation, public image, and the place a person occupies (or seeks to occupy) in the world.

Unlike planets, which move through the zodiac at their own speeds, the Midheaven depends entirely on the exact time and place of birth: calculating it precisely requires a reliable birth time, and it's just as sensitive to minute-level errors as the Ascendant.

The sign on the Midheaven sets the 'tone' of one's vocation and career: what kind of recognition the person seeks, how they want to be seen professionally. Planets that fall near this point (in conjunction) tend to carry significant weight in public image and career path.

Mythology

It doesn't come from a specific deity, but from the geometry of the sky: the highest point the ecliptic reaches above the horizon at the place of birth.

When it brings challenges

Can show up as vocational confusion, or a gap between the image projected and who the person feels they truly are.
